Following a successful bid by Study Melbourne in partnership with Deakin and La Trobe University, this year's conference will be held at Peninsula A, Shed 14, Central Pier, 161 Harbour Esplanade, Docklands VIC 3008 from the 6-8th July, followed by an Annual General Meeting (for members only) on the 9th and 10th July.As CISA marks its 5th year anniversary, we ask that you join us in celebrating our achievements, the hard work and contribution of international student representatives of both past and present in shaping the quality of the international student experience in Australia. This year, we bring you an impressive line-up of speakers and exhibitors from the international education sector and beyond. This conference will be the conference where international student change-makers meet with one another,  explore ideas, and more importantly, come out with an action plan based on key issues identified in past CISA conferences - workplace issues and employability, affordable and quality accommodation. Our pre-conference workshops once again aim to empower international student representatives, with a core focus this time on "How to be an effective international student representative". Our aim is to make sure that student delegates will walk off from the conference with an abundance of knowledge about how to advocate for their peers by knowing 'Who's who in the Zoo' and using best practices' strategies shared by professionals. The conference will see CISA delegates confront the debate through the high calibre of speakers led thought provoking presentations  and robust panel discussions.  We will seek to challenge the sector to improve and innovate for a better campus experience for students. The overarching theme for this year's Council of International Students Australia's (CISA) National Conference: Celebrating Achievements, Together towards Tomorrow.

We are delighted to be returning to Melbourne this year, where our first ever conference was held four years ago. Following a successful bid by Study Melbourne in partnership with Deakin and La Trobe University, this year's conference will be held at
Peninsula A, Shed 14, Central Pier, 161 Harbour Esplanade, Docklands VIC 3008 from the 6-8th July, followed by an Annual General Meeting (for members only) on the 9th and 10th July.

As CISA marks its 5th year anniversary, we ask that you join us in celebrating our achievements, the hard work and contribution of international student representatives of both past and present in shaping the quality of the international student experience in Australia.
