The Conference theme – Leading Locally Competing Globally – has been selected to provide an opportunity for ATEM and TEFMA delegates to shine a light on individual, unit and organisational contributions to the communities, towns, cities and regions that they are connected with and to showcase how these local activities enable them to compete globally. About TEMC The Tertiary Education Management Conference is organised in partnership by the Association for Tertiary Education Management (ATEM) and the Tertiary Education Facilities Management Association (TEFMA) and atttracts around 600 professional managers from higher education and TAFE institutes, Polytechnics, Wananga, government departments, private providers and similar organisations. It is the only conference in the tertiary sector which covers the full range of functions in institutions, and is designed to allow participants to build strong networks across Australia and New Zealand. TEMC has a strong practitioner focus to support the sharing of knowledge and ‘know how’, and also provides opportunities to focus on big-picture issues as well. It allows participants to reflect on their management practice in a regional, national and global context. Source: TEMC/Leishman Associates Novotel, Wollongong trueMM/DD/YYYY
