The University of Melbourne’s Learning Analytics Research Group was formed in 2013 and has since established an international reputation for research in this field. In this seminar the work of four researchers from this group will be showcased. These studies demonstrate four different perspectives on analysing student data emerging from the Coursera MOOC platform and the University’s learning management system. Together they provide insight into how learning analytics can be used at the University to enhance the quality of teaching and learning.
